After Harbinger’s runaway success at the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot last month, a serious leg injury has put a nail in the coffin of the horse’s career. Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, the 12-owner syndicate who share the horse, commented that the serious injury has put an end to his career.
He may well have been tipped as the best horse in the world, and horse racing fans everywhere may well be begging for his continued racing, but Harbinger will now likely go to stud at some point in the future. Remember: horses gotta get laid too. Read more.
