It’s been one of the best seasons for the Reds since the Red Machine was steaming rolling through the NL. Now the Reds enter what could be the most important series of the season against the Cardinals. For the Reds, up just 2 games in the NL Central, a couple of wins could provide some breathing room in the standings. This series could also decide for voters who wins the NL MVP between Joey Votto and Albert Pujols.
