Ahead of the most pointless sporting encounter since England’s last football friendly, Andrew Strauss has lent his ha’penny’s worth to the cricket match-fixing debate by urging players to shop in anyone they might suspect of being involved in throwing a game. Cricket has been plagued by dodgy dealings for years but Strauss is setting himself up for a fall here.
