According to figures released Wednesday by the Division of Gaming Enforcement, state-licensed online operators reported revenue of $14m in December, 6% more than November’s $13.2m and 30.8% higher than December 2014’s total. The online casino vertical rose 39% year-on-year to $12m, while poker revenue fell 3.6% to just under $2m.

For the year as a whole, the state’s online revenue came to $148.8m, 21% higher than 2014’s total. Total online casino revenue in 2015 came to $125m, up one-third from 2014, while poker revenue fell 18% to $23.8m.

As usual, the Borgata/Bwin.party/Pala combo earned the bulk of December’s take at $3.96m, of which $2.85m came from casino and $1.1m from poker. For the year as a whole, Borgata sites earned $45.7m, up from $44.3m in 2014, despite a 17% fall in poker revenue.

Caesars interactive Entertainment sites reported December revenue of $3.1m, with $2.23m from casino and $874k from poker. Total 2015 revenue came to $32.7m, down from $32.9m. The decline was the result of its slumping poker vertical, which fell from $13.3m in 2014 to $10.7m last year, erasing casino gains.

The Golden Nugget’s casino-only site reported revenue of $2.87m in December, while its annual haul came to $31m, nearly three times as much as 2014’s $10.8m, thanks in part to the late-2014 addition of Betfair’s New Jersey site.

The Tropicana’s casino site reported revenue of $2.8m in December, while its 2015 revenue improved 45% to $32.8m, narrowly edging out the Borgata’s $32.6m to win the title of 2015’s biggest online casino earner among New Jersey-licensed operators.

Resorts Casino Hotel’s casino site reported December revenue of $1.3m. The site, which only launched last year, reported annual revenue of just under $6.8m.
