Visitors to next month’s Betting on Football Conference (#bofcon) at the Emirates Stadium can discover the top 5 ways to reduce the number of customer disputes on football betting, thanks to a new session featuring the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS).
The one-day event, being held on Thursday 10th September, IBAS Managing Director Richard Hayler will reveal the key sources of friction between bookmakers and their customers and, crucially, how to avoid them.
Hayler will also discuss the importance of detail in data to the consumer (such as the pinpoint timing of when goals are scored) and warn against complacency in meeting the Fair and Open requirements of gambling in Great Britain.
Andrew McCarron, of event organisers Sports Betting Community, commented: “The amount of money that operators are investing in commercial relationships with football clubs means it’s even more important that they can keep the customers attracted by those deals happy.
“We are really pleased to get IBAS in as part of the agenda. Their position at the customer dispute end of the betting experience gives them a great insight into how operators can easily improve their football betting service.”
IBAS is one of 90 companies already represented at this year’s Betting on Football conference. The day involves a dozen sessions dealing with a variety of issues around football betting and is followed up with an evening networking party, sponsored by TXODDS.
Visitors to next month’s Betting on Football Conference at the Emirates Stadium will also get the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the FA Cup trophy, thanks to hosts Arsenal FC as part of an Official Tour of the stadium.
Betting on Football is supported by BetConstruct, bettingexpert.com, BGT, editec, EveryMatrix, Matchbook, Metric Gaming, Oddslife, SBTech, Sportradar, TXODDS.
