Internet bookmaker Globet International Sports Betting Limited has struck a deal with e-gaming solutions consultant Zukido to launch its new in-play sports betting platform.
The UK based online bookmaker has said that the new venture will see Zukido building a Flash based in-play front end, while providing consultancy services to help integrate the Zukido solution with the Globet proprietary back end.
Zukido must be thrilled that it has managed to secure yet another deal in two months, after teaming up with Plus-Five Gaming Network in September. It’s Commercial Director, David Sargeant, said: “Zukido works with a number of bookmakers who are looking to add value to their existing sports betting product, but not at the expense of compromising their uniqueness.
“Like Globet, many of these sports betting companies have proprietary systems and Zukido specialise in helping these organisations evolve their own systems. This is both in an advisory consulting capacity as well as building great value bespoke products on top of these systems.”
The new Zukido-built in-play solution will feature scoreboards for Football, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball and Ice Hockey, with the capability to handle any other sport – whether in match or race format – anything from Handball to Formula 1.
Managing Director at Globet, Enrico Salvatori, said: “Zukido were the natural choice for us. They are able to help us with our existing system and roll out a next-generation in-play service quickly and cost-effectively”.
The initial launch of the web application will also support five languages – English, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, and Bulgarian – to ensure they limit the numbers of those feeling left out. We should see it become live before the end of the year. Woohoo!
