US gaming solutions provider Bally Technologies Inc. has entered into the online gaming arena with a new business division, Bally Interactive.
The Bally Interactive business division will include the company’s mobile, internet, and social initiatives, complementing its traditional games and systems business lines which includes reel-spinning slot machines, video slots, wide-area progressives, mobile applications, and Class II, lottery and central determination games and platforms.
Through the Bally Interactive business division, the company will offer casino operators the ability to enhance their land-based casino gaming offering with mobile and online play-for-free and wager-based games.
Richard M. Haddrill, CEO of Bally said in the news release: “This is a very exciting step in the evolution of Bally Technologies. As gaming expands outside the casino floor, our technologies will enable casino operators to reach their patrons wherever they are, bringing the casino to the players, and bringing players back to the casino.”
“This integration will enable our customers – the casino operator – to stay connected to player trends and behaviour, as well as give their patrons access to player’s club accounts when they are at home or on the go,” added Haddrill in the news release.
Bally is set to showcase its complete cross-platform solution for casinos, including land-based, mobile, online, and systems-based games at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
