Following a competitive tender process, Tote Tasmania has selected Australian wagering technology specialist Typhoon Gaming to replace its legacy system with the Typhoon platform.
“We will replace our wagering back-end with Typhoon and change the business processes in the operations and front-end sales channels as well,” said Tote CEO Craig Coleman in as reported by Gaming Intelligence. “Typhoon is a new, agile technology platform that will change the way we serve our customers globally. We will be a genuine 21st century customer service business. This means more products to customers sooner, and delivery at the right cost.”

It is a forward thinking approach to wagering IT.”
The terms of the new agreement stipulate that Typhoon Gaming will provide Tote with software for the wagering back-end and across all sales channels including: web, mobile, self-service terminals and call centre.
Typhoon and Java training will also be made available to Tote’s software engineering team.
