The online poker room currently looking up the skirt of PokerStars is about to leap out of the Trojan horses now standing idle in France and Spain.
partypoker LIVE and the King’s Resort in Rozvadov have agreed to sponsor the France Poker Series and Spain Poker Series throughout 2019. Each series contains five stops with a grand final scheduled to take place at King’s later in the year.
The first two events are underway.
Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and Bruno Fitoussi are in the south of France for the France Poker Series in La Grand-Motte 14-17 February with the first Spain Poker Festival event taking place in Mallorca over the same timeframe.
In addition to the live action, partypoker is also feeling brave enough to roll out the successful POWERFEST brand throughout Spain and France. LE POWERFEST/EL POWERFEST takes place 24th Feb to 12 March with 91-events splattered across Micro, Low, Medium, High and High Roller levels.
There is €3.5m in guaranteed prize money with the core of those euros hanging onto the coattails of three Phased Main Events at the €11, €55 and €250 buy-in levels, guaranteed for €40,000, €125,000 and €350,000 respectively. There is also a €100,000 GTD Championship event on Sunday 10 March for a €1,050 buy-in, with €520 as the first bounty.
Hellmuth Masterclass
From Europe to South America, and Phil Hellmuth Jr. will put on a Masterclass for his fans during MILLIONS South America at The Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro.
The event takes place Monday 18th March 7 pm, where the most successful player in World Series of Poker (WSOP) history will share his poker bible with his minions.
The festival runs from March 15 – 24 with $7m in prize money guaranteed across 12-events. The peach in the fruit bowl is the $5m GTD $10,300 MILLION Main Event with the $25,000 buy-in Super High Roller, $10,300 buy-in $1m GTD High Roller, and $1,100 buy-in $1m GTD MILLIONS Open also looking tasty.
partypoker Launch MyGame
Finally, partypoker has added a beautiful piece of kit to the online poker room called MyGame. Currently, in Beta Mode, MyGame is an English-only interactive poker coach that analyses your play at the cash game tables (MTTs coming soon).
MyGame provides you with a scorecard after each session rating you across eight skill-levels ranging from Unranked to Elite Pro. The AI analyses your play across five primary categories and 25 sub-categories, and you can continually tweak your performance by checking out MyGames’ Interactive training tools such as ‘The Clinic’ and ‘Fundamentals.’
MyGame also allows you to undertake specific missions, and share your successes across your social media channels.
