Two Esports related news stories including DOJO Madness and Sportradar creating a joint Esports venture: Bayes Esports Solution, and the Esports Entertainment Group Inc., joins the Esports Integrity Coalition.

DOJO Madness & Sportradar create Bayes Esports Solution; VIE joins ESICThe world has gone officially nuts.

There is now an Esports league based on the game Farming Simulator where you can drive around your plot of land in a tractor, milk chickens, and teach your cows to lay eggs with the best players winning upwards of $280,000 doing so.

All of which means, at some point in the near future, if it doesn’t already exist, someone, somewhere, is going to run a book on the game, meaning the requirement of data, lots of data, and this is where DOJO Madness and Sportradar step into the breach.

DOJO Madness is an Esports data management company based in Berlin that collects data on a myriad of Esports titles and then uses that data to create third-party software tools or assist betting companies and Esports broadcasting platforms. Amongst DOJO’s products are virtual coaches for League of Legends (LOLSUMO), Overwatch (OVERSUMO), and an analytics and data visualisation program for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), League of Legends and Dota 2 called Shadow.

Two years ago, DOJO Madness partnered with Sportradar who are the sports data and digital content management Daddy that counts the leading provider of live data services to the betting industry, Betradar as one of its puppies, and the benefits of that partnership are about to be realised big time.

The two companies have created a joint venture called Bayes Esports Solution, an entity designed to build next level products for Esports media, broadcasting and betting products.

Martin Dachselt, CTO at DOJO Madness will take the role of the Managing Director of the new venture, and said in a press release that this {Bayes} will put us in a perfect position to take advantage of the projected 36% annual growth rate of the esports market from about USD 655 million in 2017.

Warren Murphy, Managing Director of the Betting & Gaming division at Sportradar called the partnership a game changer for Sportradar that will provide equity in a rapidly growing market and the dedicated resource and expertise to design and develop market-leading products and services for the Esports market.

Esports Entertainment Group Joins Esports Integrity Coalition, Commits To Highest Level of Esports Integrity Monitoring

The waterfalls are drying out, the coral reefs are dying,  the sirens keep on yelling, and through it, all, the Esports Entertainment Group Inc., (VIE) won’t let a day pass without putting some newsworthy piece into the ether.

Today’s story is that VIE is the latest Esports entity to join the Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC), a sensible strategy if you want to become much more than a fetus in the belly of Esports betting.

ESIC is a global organisation that helps protect the integrity of Esports, and this includes working with the world’s largest betting operators, and Esports organisations.

ESIC formed in 2016, and their list of partners continues to swell. ESIC’s Commissioner, Ian Smith, pointed out that competitive integrity in VIE’s speciality of pitting player v player instead of player v house is as important as any other part of the Esports ecosystem, and was looking forward to working with them as tractor took on tractor.

Sorry.

Like Kylie’s song, I can’t seem to get it out of my head.
