PokerStars PCA qualifying news, live podcast special, and much more

A pickle jar full of PokerStars stories including PokerStars Caribbean Adventure online satellite news, a live podcast celebration, Dublin & Uruguay Festival news, and more charitable work, this time for Hurricane relief in Florida.

PokerStars has reacted well to player feedback in recent months. The top brass pulled the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) brand out of the trash, dusted it off, and gave it a fresh lick of paint. Now they are working on the complaint that Stars has forgotten the importance of providing tributaries to the bigger events for the recreational players.

The Road to Bahamas ultra satellites will send 200 qualifiers to the PCA in January 2018. On Oct 15 & Nov 5, PokerStars will offer punters six different ways to qualify for the $10,300 PCA Main Event, distributing $3m in prizes over the two days.

Here are the six routes:

1. More than a million squid in PCA satellite tickets will leap out of Stars Rewards Chests from Sep 25 to Nov 5.
2. Cash Game Daily Challenges where the winning players will be put into an All-In Shootout event sending people to the Bahamas.
3-4. Spin & Go tournaments, and weekly challenges.
5. Sit & Go on Demand, special 18-player $55 buy-in Sit & Go satellites.
6. $55 buy-in MTT satellites

Players can also buy-in directly for the $530 buy-in PCA satellites. Players win a $15,855 PCA package consisting of a $10,300 Main Event seat, nine night’s accommodation, $1k in cash credits added in your Stars account and $1k resort credit to spend at Atlantis.
