The Twoplustwo Pokercast is to be broadcast on television courtesy of the Poker Vision Network; the £8m Guaranteed partypoker MILLIONS reminds you it’s not all about poker.
The PokerVision Network (PVN) has teamed up with the Twoplustwo PokerCast in a bid to begin building its portfolio of multi-media poker related content.
With over 40,000 downloads per week, the Twoplustwo PokerCast is one of the most listened to forms of media in poker, and PVN is determined to see if it has another arrow in its quiver.
For the first time, since the PokerCast was born, over 12-years ago, hosts Adam Schwartz, Terrence Chan, and PVN will televise the show that combines up to date poker news stories and interviews with some of the most intriguing poker players in the business.
Schwartz, who recently joined PVN as Director of Poker Programming stated in a press release that his new team asked him to take the show to the next level and that’s what they plan to do.
Schwartz and Chan will break the new format out of the box during the largest poker tournament Canada has ever seen, the CAD $5m Guaranteed partypoker Million North America at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, where one lucky winner will walk away with the CAD$1m first prize.
Phase 1 days have been running on partypoker since 22, January. Online Day 1’s begin 23 April, and the live action runs 5 May – 10 May.
Partypoker Move Off The Felt
During a recent chinwag with partypoker LIVE Prez John Duthie, the European Poker Tour (EPT) founder, talked to me about the importance of putting on a show away from the poker tables, so the players have plenty to do when they aren’t flicking cards into the muck.
The event in Sochi, Russia was a perfect example with plenty of opportunities to hit the slopes, but Nottingham? What can you do in Nottingham?
The highly anticipated partypoker MILLIONS begins at Dusk till Dawn (DTD) this weekend. Europe’s largest ever live poker tournament will guarantee £6m in prize money, £1m for the winner, and £8m when you take the side-events into consideration.
But there is more.
Satellite qualifiers and direct buy-in players who contact [email protected] no earlier than 16 April will get the opportunity to mix it up in the following events:
Notts County v Portsmouth
On Monday 17 April, players get VIP tickets including a pre-match meal and drinks at this League Two clash.
Zorb Football at Astro Kings
