TopSport the latest Aussie operator to sign up to fast growing supplier
Monday December, 2016 – The Australian distributor for Digital Sports Tech, a B2B provider of next generation sports betting solutions, has signed a deal with TopSport to provide the Australian operator with its unique player proposition betting offering (“Player Props”).
TopSport will be launching Digital Sport Tech’s Player Props, where customers will be able to customise and create their very own bets based on player performance across a range of statistics and sports.
TopSport will become the third operator in Australia to integrate the one-of-a-kind player proposition betting product following the success of MadBookie and the upcoming launch with Ladbrokes Australia.
Ari Lewski, executive director of Digital Sports Ltd, said: “We quickly identified Australia as a key market for us prior to launch, so to have signed three Australian operators in our first six months is a real thrill.
“TopSport see the huge potential of player related betting and we will have a number of other operators signing up to Player Props over the coming weeks and months.
“It’s about time that punters can create exactly the type of bet they want and sportsbooks all over the world are now recognising the power that our Player Props product offers.”
Tristan Merlehan, Director of Top Sport, said: “Digital Sports Tech have built a first-class product that directly penetrates what is definitely an untapped growth segment of the market – player performance bets.
“The Australian sportsbook market is booming at present. This means that the competition is increasing and this product provides us with the opportunity to give our loyal customers a far greater variety of betting opportunities, as well as a more personalised betting experience.”
Player Props is facilitated by a unique proprietary and patent-pending platform and algorithms that analyses each customised bet to generate accurate odds and automatically determine the result.
The sports currently available via the product include football, basketball, American football, Australian rules football and rugby league.
Some examples of the bets that customers will be able to create and bet on include:
• Single player bet: Gary Ablett to have at least 30 disposals against Collingwood (AFL)
• Combined player bet: Tom Brady and Cam Newton to throw 6 touchdowns combined (NFL)
• Head-to-head bet: James Harden to score more 3pt field goals than Steph Curry (NBA)
A major attraction of the Player Props betting platform is the sheer number of player markets that can be made available to users without any extra trading manpower.
Factoring in all the possible bet permutations and combinations, there are more than 1.3 million unique markets available for users to create during a single round of English Premier League matches, and more than 2.3 million in a weekend of NFL.
The wide variety of player markets also means that bettors are far more engaged when watching a match. Rather than waiting for the final score they are focused on key individual moments like a successful pass or tackle, shot or rebound.
Digital Sports Tech provides products for the next generation of sports betting. It utilizes state of the art technology of the world’s first purpose built sports betting platform that lets users create and customise their own proposition bets on player statistical performance across a range of sports and statistics.
