Online poker network 888Poker has partnered with WSOP Circuit to bring the World Series of Poker tournaments to players via satellites running on the 888Poker network.
WSOP has a total of 16 international locations, and of these locations, 888Poker will exclusively provide online satellite at the WSOP Circuit Brazil, which is scheduled to start on Oct. 26 and continue on over eight days at the Transamerica Expo Center, the company said in a blog post.
888Poker will also provide online satellite at the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov, which will run from Oct. 27 to Nov. 14 at King’s Casino with a total of 42 events. Buy-ins range from €200 up to €8,888 for the Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller 8-Max €200,000 event.
The online poker network will also offer two packages to poker players at the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov: the $1,150 WSOP Circuit Crazy 888s Package Qualifier, which includes an entry to the €888 Side Event and three nights in the King’s Hotel; and the $2,250 WSOP Circuit Main Event Package Qualifier, which includes a €1,650 tournament buy-in to the Main Event and six nights at the King’s Hotel.
HeadsUp Entertainment buys Fanlogic
Media company HeadsUp Entertainment announced that it has acquired Fanlogic LLC, a daily fantasy, social gaming and eSports company.
HeadsUp issued 60 million restricted shares—through the asset contribution agreement—at a price of $0.06 per share as consideration for the technology, infrastructure and management team of Fanlogic.
The acquisition is expected to bolster HeadsUp’s plans to expand internationally. HeadsUp plans to generate revenue through marketing contracts with major brand partners, sports teams, charities and though direct user engagement.
Fanlogic is a complete social fantasy platform provider for in-game, daily, weekly, season-long, on-demand fantasy poker, eSports or event-driven fantasy games and promotions. The company’s core offering consists of social, free to play fantasy games for the purpose of customer acquisition and retention.
