SBC & AGB Monsoon Meetup
Sports Betting Community (SBC) and Asia Gambling Brief (AGB) have announced another Manila based social, a meetup designed to bring together local iGaming professionals for drinks, food and networking.
Sponsors so far include First Cagayan, DFNN, Betcoin Tech, Neustar and EveryMatrix, with their participation making it possible to finance refreshments for the expected 150 iGaming professionals.
SBC’s Managing Director Andrew McCarron said,
“Since we launched the Asian Socials, they’ve been a huge success in getting the gambling industry together in the region. That’s testament to the endeavour of SBC’s Frank Schuengel and AGBrief’s Ros Wade who help make it a networking party worthy of the name.”

The BiG Sports Dinner
The inaugural BiG Sports Dinner, an initiative of The BiG Foundation, takes place at the luxurious Dorchester Hotel in London on Wednesday, September 10th. By bringing the sports gambling industry and sports icons together for a decadent evening of dinner and awards, the BiG Foundation intends to raise money for a carefully selected group of charities.
Richard Hogg, Founder and Director of The BiG Foundation told CalvinAyre.com,
“We now have Austin Healey confirmed as MC for the evening at The Dorchester in London and have John Barnes, Dalton Grant (high jumper and TV pundit) and Anthony Joshua, (Boxing Olympic Gold Medalist) and Laura Watson (tennis). We also have our Patrons, Harry Redknapp and Jason Leonard and are hoping to get John Inverdale and a couple of jockeys and cricketers, so things are really moving fast and a number of sponsors have already been confirmed!”
In addition to the above, The BiG Foundation have invited several Italian Rugby players from WASPS to join in the festivities and for those who want to extend the fun, there is a sponsored after-party at Mahiki for all BiG Dinner guests.

Global Gaming Expo- G2E
The largest gambling industry conference and expo of the year is G2E, now in its fourteenth year and counting. Big name speakers such as Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynn are on this year’s roster and the expo floor promises to be the biggest its been in five years.
