DJ Roger Sanchez to Spin the Decks at EPT BarcelonaDJ Roger Sanchez has revealed that he will perform at the EPT100 celebration party, as part of the EPT Barcelona festivities, in August.

Grammy award-winning DJ Roger Sanchez will be the star attraction at the EPT100 celebration party due to be held in Barcelona at the back end of August.

The announcement that Sanchez will be playing a three-hour set to commemorate the 100th EPT event, in Barcelona, has taken poker party entertainment to another level.

The celebration party will be open access for both Estrellas and EPT players and there will be a two-hour free bar and special VIP area once the club has been opened to members of the public.

The venue is a converted 19th Century theatre known as the Teatre Principal, in the heart of the Las Ramblas boulevard, and is said to be home to some of the best club nights in Barcelona.

The event will kick off at 10.30 p.m. on August 20th, and EPT President Edgar Stuchly is over the moon at the announcement, “We are absolutely thrilled that Roger Sanchez will be helping us celebrate the 100th EPT and also thank PokerTracker, the Official EPT Poker Tracking Partner, for sponsoring the event. EPT100 is one of the most important milestones in our history and we are getting ready to host a record number of online qualifiers. I suspect that Sanchez’s performance will prove an even bigger incentive for players trying to win their seat in the tournament.”

Sanchez is currently in the middle of a European tour that sees him spin the decks in Bosnia, Portugal, Croatia, the Netherlands, Turkey, the UK and several high profile Spanish hot spots such as Ibiza and Barcelona.

The EPT Barcelona Poker Festival will run August 16-22. It’s expected to be a record breaker in terms of numbers, and the signing of Sanchez will do no harm to that expectation whatsoever.
