The annual EGR B2B Awards went down tonight at The Pavilion at the Tower of London and I had the opportunity to enjoy the festivities with BetConstruct.com at their awards table.
It was a beautiful summer evening; the perfect weather for a drinks reception on the Pavilion lawn with a front row view of the Tower of London. After an hour of cocktailing, EGR’s guests made their way inside for dinner, where dozens of tables were filled to the brim with iGaming professionals.
After a three course meal, the evening’s host, stand-up comedian Henry Paker, kicked off the ceremony with some questionable bald jokes directed towards Playtech’s table and pointed out that women are not okaywith cutting cheese on its packaging but they are okaywith placing a cat’s litter box in the kitchen.
Paker’s best received joke by far was when he said, “…and the award for most awards ever given out in one night goes to youguys.” As there were a whopping 39 awards delivered on the evening.
