And while a lot of us are taking the time to enjoy the holidays with our loved ones, that doesn’t mean we can’t squeak in few holiday bets to recoup the money we all lost buying all those PlayStation 4s and gift certificates to the Olive Garden.

It’s far from the busiest time of the betting schedule, but the holidays offer a nice slate of games covering a wide range of sports that still gives us the opportunity to enjoy a few parlays here and there.

Over the next few days, the NBA, the NFL, and European soccer will have multiple games to choose from, beginning on the 25th when the NBA takes the spotlight with five nationally-televised games. The whole day basketball extravaganza kicks off with the Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets, followed by Oklahoma City taking on the New York Knicks in the early afternoon. After that, the Miami Heat travel to LA to face the Los Angeles Lakers before the Houston Rockets match wits with the San Antonio Spurs. And finally, the last game on the docket has the LA Clippers meeting the Golden State Warriors in Oakland.

As soon as Christmas ends, the UK will celebrate Boxing Day on the 26th and what better way to wind down from all the yuletide celebrations that a steady fix of English  football goodness. A full slate of games are on the schedule, including English Premier League matches featuring Hull City versus Manchester United, Chelsea versus Swansea, West Ham versus Arsenal, and Tottenham versus West Brom.

In addition to all the balls that will be kicked around on that day in England, Belgium’s Jupiler League will also have a packed schedule, as will the Scottish Premier League, Italy’s Serie B, and an Australian A-League contest between Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar. Meanwhile, the US will also have its Dec. 25 sports selections to choose from, including the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl between Pittsburgh and Bowling Green and the Poinsettia Bowl featuring Utah State and Northern Illinois.

December 27 to December 29 will be on full tap, as well, with a handful of NBA games, NHL games, football matches from all over the world.

From there, December 30 will feature the all-important Week 17 schedule in the NFL. Some games have no bearing, but others will be important games to determine play-off seedings. Keep a close eye on the Carolina Panthers versus the Atlanta Falcons, the New Orleans Saints versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the San Francisco 49ers versus the Arizona Cardinals, and the Philadelphia Eagles versus the Dallas Cowboys.
