European iGaming Congress (EiG)

For the past twelve years the European iGaming Congress (EiG) has maintained its status as the premier online gambling conference for the European marketplace.  This year organizer Clarion Events expect over 1,500 iGaming professionals to attend with a lineup of workshops, think tanks, tutorials, expo floor and networking.

Clarion Events’ Silvia Peneva told CalvinAyre.com, “This year’s EiG is all about dissecting the anatomy of iGaming.  EiG remains true to its core proposition as the sole European event dedicated to iGaming which offers a more intimate space and more time for networking and learning than larger tradeshows. The on-going regulation of iGaming in the US and the new developments in some Latin American countries are also increasingly attracting a keen audience from these countries to come and learn from Europe’s experiences”.

The official EiG party takes place on Wednesday night, October 9 at BLING BLING, a trendy nightclub in Barcelona. SafeCharge’s Iris Veleanu told CalvinAyre.com that we can expect an open bar until midnight, a DJ and dancers, live musicians playing “lights”, SafeCharge hostesses and some other surprises to be revealed on the night.

World Regulatory Briefing (WrB) Philadelphia

For the first time ever, Clarion’s World Regulatory Briefing will be setting up shop in America’s Philadelphia.  With so much activity (and confusion) in the United States when it comes to online gambling regulation, WrB Philly will set out to inform companies and professionals on how to prepare for online gambling in the US sans Federal solution.

Clarion’s Ewa Bakun told CalvinAyre.com, “WrB Philadelphia will analyze the results of the first [regulatory] launches, debate the pros and cons of state-by-state regulation and discuss how to take a leap from intra- to inter- state iGaming. 12 regulators and 4 policy-makers will be joined by experts from the B&M and iGaming industries to envision how interstate iGaming, regulatory reciprocity and pooling liquidity could look like in the state-by-state regulatory scenario, most likely to be rolled out in the United States”.
