Affiliates are one part of the industry we have a lot of time for. Without the affiliates we wouldn’t have the mad parties, stellar conferences and drunken misbehavior in nearly as high a dose as we have now. That, and the fact it’s affiliates month at CalvinAyre.com, is the reason we threw open the doors to last week’s poll and asked them in to do just what it is they do to stay alive in their business.
Once we’d invited them in and got them intoxicated we posed the question What Should Affiliates’ Main Priorities Be Moving Forward? And with the results now in, here’s what you affiliates plumped for.
Bringing up the rear with 3 percent… Maintaining a USP.
Closely following up was Consistently Innovating with 4 percent.
Earning a licence in Nevada, something that is a huge bone of contention right now, saw 12 percent.
Customer Relationship also took 12 percent of the vote.
Third place, and bronze medal, on the affiliate podium was taken by Social Media Strategy with 15 percent.
Coming runner up is an all-time favorite with affiliates and it comes as no surprise that Mastering SEO taking 18 percent.
The winner though, with 36 percent, was Building a Brand, something that is extremely important in all facets of the gambling industry and business as a whole. Building a Brand is something the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Hugh Hefner and Sir Richard Branson have done in the past and it’s extremely encouraging that affiliates have sat up and smelt the coffee. Combining this with social media strategy and customer relationships is also a must to make sure that loyalty remains in place. So a strategy that involves all three is likely to be a successful one.
