KAX Media officially relaunch; AGS granted Illinois VGT licence; Titan Poker announce tournament

KAX Media AGS Titan PokerOnline gambling publisher, KAX Media, has announced the official relaunch of along with a new website after acquiring the domain last year at auction.

With a portfolio of iGaming portals that include,, and, KAX said in a statement the new website will “feature a wide variety of fresh content including slideshows, videos and reviews that cover all aspects of online gambling”.

KAX Chief Executive, Charles H Gillespie, said: “We hope to restore as the pre-eminent resource for online gambling information and the first stop for every online gambler.”

To start with, KAX will focus only on the UK but it does plan to expand worldwide to all regulated English speaking markets. Will you be giving good old a visit?


Gaming machines designer and operator, American Gaming Systems (AGS), has been granted a license to manufacture and distribute Video Gaming Terminals in Illinois, which will allow it to sell gaming devices to Riverboat casinos throughout the state.

AGS’ President and CEO, Bob Miodunski, said: “Dr. Olaf Vancura and his game development team have worked tirelessly to build and refine an amazing product that will offer Illinois operators an incredibly flexible and profitable solution.”

When the company has received regulatory approval, AGS said in a press release its Video Gaming Terminals will be powered by its new Roadrunner platform – with proprietary 3-D graphics engine, an accelerated video frame refresh rate and “crystal-clear” graphics.

AGS’ current portfolio of products includes Class III and Class II machines, Class III and Class II server-based gaming and wide-area progressives.



After announcing the upgrading of its poker software to improve loading times and performance only yesterday, Titan Poker hasn’t wasted any time providing us with more  announcements, revealing today that Poker players can qualify for its Mega Poker Series Nottingham 2012 Main Event in March this year.

As a land-based poker tournament, the event will be held in Nottingham on March 7- 11, and will be staged at the Dusk Till Dawn Pokerclub/Casino with entries to the Main Event set at €700 +€70.

A company statement said players qualifying at Titan Poker will each receive a €1,500 prize package, which includes the Main Event buy-in as well as 5 nights’ accommodation and breakfast at the Park Plaza Nottingham and €400 for flights and spending.

Titan Poker’s Mega Poker Series Nottingham 2012 Super Satellites will be staged on Monday nights at 8PM GMT as a €80 + €8 re-buy event. Titan Poker’s DeepStack Open Cannes 2012 Super Satellites take place on Thursday nights at 9PM GMT as a €80 + €8 re-buy event.

Low-priced “sit ‘n’ go” and scheduled satellite tournaments are also running around the clock feeding to these tournaments, a press release stated.
