iGB Affiliate, organiser’s of the London Affiliate Conference (LAC) have announced a new feature which is due to become a permanent fixture of the event held on the 26th-29th of January.
And the feature is (drum roll please) a “networking fun day”! Held on the 26th of January, the events new additional feature came about after the organiser’s noted many of the delegates arrived early for the LAC conference.
In a company press release, iGB Affiliate stated that in order to ensure the delegates are able to maximise their time in the city, this new style networking event will “ensure that these early bird delegates have a hub to network and make the most of the hundreds of affiliates and operators expected to attend.”
Head of iGaming Business, Alex Pratt, said: “The London Affiliate Conference is always a record breaking event. Everyone in the online gambling affiliate industry will be at LAC, so this usually means that most delegates have a full schedule from dusk till dawn with pre-arranged business meetings. This is obviously an amazing opportunity for attendees, but we wanted to bring back a fun twist to our conferences. So we created the ‘fun day’ which allows delegates who arrive early in time to relax and network in an informal atmosphere.”
After last year’s attendance record – we’re sure this new feature in the LAC schedule will only lead to more party action. It is set to include: a speed networking session followed by ten pin bowling competitions, table football, air hockey, ping pong, pool tables and Karaoke.
Alex added: “At the end of the day, this event will be unashamedly fun.” Continues Alex “Our industry continues to grow year by year and it’s no longer the case where you know most of the delegates attending our events. New faces are great for business, but in an industry as connected as ours, it’s important to facilitate an atmosphere where people can create real bonds outside of the boardroom and emails.”
The LAC Networking Fun Day will be held at the Kingpin Suite, Bloomsbury Lanes, Bedford Way, London, between 12 to 4pm on the 25th January 2012. Will you be partying attending?
