Gaming solutions provider Genera Networks has signed a three-year deal with Norway’s Norsk Tipping to provide a number of games, via its partners Microgaming and Play’n Go, for the state-owned gaming operator’s Multix interactive video terminals.
Under the agreement, Genera is expected to provide what they termed as “proven” online games optimised for the Norwegian gaming machines market through its partners Microgaming and Play’n Go.
Genera Networks CEO Jan Stocklassa said in the release, “We are very pleased to be chosen as a preferred game provider for Norsk Tipping…It proves that it’s not about size in the regulated market, but about understanding the requirements of the lotteries and managing the process.”
“This marks a new era for Norsk Tipping and Multix,” said Torbjørn Almlid, CEO of Norsk Tipping. “We aim to continue our success with Multix and keep generating profits for good causes while minimizing problem gambling. Genera Networks’ dedication and knowledge bodes well for our future co-operation and we have high expectations for this partnership.”
The games will be rolled out to approximately 3,000 Multix interactive video terminals across Norway during the third quarter of 2011.
