Sunday, March 27th saw the great and the good – at least in the eyes of eGaming Review – assemble for the annual gaming industry Power 50 confab. By invitation only, eGR’s version of the world’s top 50 operators got together to discuss the hot topics of the day, including European regulation, the economy, mobile gaming and how social media and gaming are likely to converge. It’s always something of a mystery how operators make it onto eGR’s list but it’s certainly a sexy enough list to attract all the related suppliers who pay handsomely for the privilege of attending. It’s a bit of a headhunters’ wet dream, really. As the proceedings are subject to Chattam House rules we cannot report on any of the secret handshakes and such that were undoubtedly on full display, but attendees are reporting that it was a good event and a good time. The only question outstanding is: how you get on this list and invited to this event?
