Esteemed conference organizers Clarion Gaming have made the first announcements concerning next month’s World Gambling Briefing.
The event, which takes from 13-14 April at the Hilton Hotel on the offshore gambling haven of Malta, will see many of those at the forefront of the world gambling industry in attendance.
Today the organizers have announced that a limited number of free conference passes are to be made available for operators who are yet to receive a gaming license and would like to attend.
“Gaining the most up-to-date regulatory updates is critical to established businesses, but as a startup it’s even more important to understand the lay of the land in terms of what you can and cannot do in Europe and the rest of the World,” comments Mark Walker at Clarion.
Now into its sixth year, the event will be covering legislation from over 20 different countries and if the free passes for startups weren’t enough they’ve announced a stellar line up of speakers.
The list is headed by Jean Bergevin, Head of Units at the European Commission, who will talk about future changes to regulation at a EU level and the possibilities of mutual recognition between member states.
Andre Wilsenach, CEO of Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), spoke last year and is delighted to again welcome the conference to the gambling circuit.
He said, “The World Gambling Briefing is an absolute must to attend. It provides an opportunity for industry experts, executives and regulators to exchange thoughts and share the lessons learned during the past decade.”
With a number of other speakers still to be announced, the 2011 World Gambling Briefing is another event you don’t want to say you missed. Further details are available by clicking through this link.
