This sure beats hopping a plain to Vegas
While Apple has no shortage of haters, there’s little denying that iPhone is the biggest name in smartphones. Sure the Android platform has taken a substantial market presence, but with an estimated 16 percent of AT&T subscribers planning to switch to Verizon in the wake of the phone’s adding of a new provider, it seems likely that Apple will continue to dominate the smartphone market for years to come.

The expansion to a second service provider opens the device up to millions of new customers – many of whom will likely use the device for some form of online gambling. One of those users is Mark Halifax, a Verizon customer, who tells Casino Gambling Web that he’ll be only too happy to upgrade to an iPhone when they device goes on sale on February 10.

“For the past couple of months, I have been using my girlfriend’s iPhone to access my online poker sites. Now, I can get an iPhone for myself and not have to bother her,” gushed the fanboy. “I can’t wait until the iPhones are released.”

No longer reserved for greasy hipsters and geeky technophiles, the iPhone has emerged as one of the most easy to use portable phones on the market today thanks to its simplistic apps and touch screen interface.
