When it comes to appointing new members of staff in the iGaming industry it’s usually down to Bodog to keep the industry going in that department. CEO of Bodog Europe Patrik Selin has even been cheeky enough to put in a recruitment booth at one of January’s conferences. To think you just saw him as that steely eyed fella across the poker felt from you.
There are other companies on the block though, and one has made the inspired (forgive us) choice of appointing a managing director of their new online division. After being taken over earlier this year by Vitruvian Partners, Inspired Gaming Group (INGG) announced the appointment of Mark Irvine to head up their recently formed online division.
Luke Alvarez, CEO of INGG, commented: “We believe that our proven content is extremely compelling to online operators and we’re certain that Mark’s experience and energy will make our online division a huge success. Inspired is focused on investing in the growth areas of our industry and online is undoubtedly an exciting space with huge potential for the future.”
Irvine comes to INGG with over 11 years experience in the industry, and they hope his knowledge and contacts will bring plenty of success to the gaming group. The company’s next step is to bring the same HD content enjoyed by land-based operators to their online products, initially with the launch of the highly successful Treasure Island slot game, along with other five reel slot games.
