888poker on their way to France

888pokerOperators in the country don’t exactly praise the French poker market what with the tax level being a particular cause of disagreement for the operators. This doesn’t stop those on the outside looking in wanting to get involved though – they’ve obviously heard about those crazy parties that go on in the secret chateau in the country.

888poker have become the latest to enter the newly regulated market under the most imaginative name they could think of 888poker.fr. It will be a joint liquidity network working on Microgaming’s Prima Networks who will put on a party if 888poker haven’t already got the Dom Perignon on ice. Dragonfish client PokerXtrem.fr also launched, pokersubito.fr opening its virtual doors later this week.

Back from kicking it with Prince Albert in Monaco, Dragonfish MD David Zerah commented: “These latest additions mean the network will now have a total of four partners live, helping to drive early liquidity and provide a base from which to grow market share.”

Shane Warne already promotes the 888poker brand but who can they get to do the same in the Ancient kingdom of Gaul. Maybe Monsieur Domenech? Oh, it’s still too soon. My bad.
