Swedish gaming company breaks into Channel Isles

Though online gambling is currently exploding in the European market, many companies are still trying to earn licenses in new territories to expand their business. Now, Swedish software provider Net Entertainment AB has announced its successful acquisition of a category 2 license to expand their online gambling operations…to the Island of Alderney.

The new license issued by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission will allow Net Entertainment to operate within the tiny island and establish a foothold in the greater Channel Islands area.

Robin Le Provost, director of e-commerce development for Alderney and proud owner of a distinctly European accent, claims that the licensure speaks volumes of Net Entertainment’s quality and prospects as a company.

“We are proud to add Net Entertainment to our list of world-class licensed suppliers,” Le Provost, le told RecentPoker.com. “Our rigorous licensing and verification process is widely seen as a seal of approval of the highest order, which is a key reason why we have become a major European hub for the online gaming industry.”
