If any of the Pakistani cricketers are banned for their part in the latest scandal to grip the game, they could do a lot worse than ex-Australian spin bowler Shane Warne. The Aussie may have been far from squeaky clean during his time in the game, and was even involved in a match fixing scandal of his own back in the day when it wasn’t anywhere near as cool as it is today, but he’s now making a name for himself in the poker world. Warne, captain of the 888poker team, came third in the Victoria Championship High Stakes Hold’em Tournament winning $40,000. The Pakistani’s could learn a thing or two from a man formerly accused of match fixing if they are to be banned for life. It does tell us one thing though – cricketers do love a gamble.
