Instead of confronting Ray Winstone in his East End boozer, consumers have gone to the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) over a misleading Internet banner ad for Bet365, the company for which Winstone fronts the TV ad campaign.
The offending banner read “Bet365 JOIN NOW … £200 FREE BETS FOR NEW CUSTOMERS … NO1 FOR SPORTS,” the controversy arising from the fact that customers had to stake some of their own money for the free bets.
Really? You mean to say that Bet365 weren’t going to be given away £200 to all new customers? Madness if you ask me – bloody madness. Read more.
