Everyone loves the stories of those social media obsessed Gen Y’ers who add their boss as a Facebook friend, then post updates bragging about how much fun they’re having while skipping work. Well, this story may trump ‘em all. A small-time Aussie hood named Justin Grant slipped his police escort during a hospital visit, then proceeded to elude his captors for a week, all the while posting status updates to his Facebook account. At one point, the 21-year-old Grant even invited his Facebook buddies to a poker game. Now that he’s back in custody and something of a celebrity, no doubt many of the members of his behind bars ‘social network’ will be eager to press his “like” button in those group showers.
