Attention Tea Partiers – Communism has landed on the Jersey shore!!! Apparently not willing to wait for the results of that gaming summit, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is expected to announce plans on Wednesday for a sweeping power grab that removes virtually all local control (including police protection and garbage pickup) from Atlantic City’s casino industry. The entertainment and gaming district would become an independent city within a city, controlled by the state government, and the struggling Meadowlands Racetrack will be banished to the knackers.
