A helicopter making its regular run from mainland China to the gambling hub of Macau ran into mechanical problems shortly after takeoff, slamming into the water minutes later. Miraculously, both pilots and all 11 passengers escaped with only minor injuries because the pilots had the presence of mind to engage the craft’s inflatable buoys before impact. While we’re glad that no one was killed, we’d be remiss if we failed to point out that no helicopter is required for gamblers to reach the computer in their living room, den or bedroom, where gambling is available 24/7 via any number of online gambling sites.
