It seems like just yesterday the Indians were on the cusp of becoming a contender in the AL, much has changed. Meanwhile, the Mets are surging, but Met fans know better than to get too excited, if there’s one thing the Mets are capable of, it’s a monumental collapse. Oddsmakers aren’t pinning that collapse to start today when the Mets take on the Indians, and have the Mets at -115 favorites. If the Mets are going to continue to compete they’ll need former Red Sox slugger Jason Bay to regain his power stroke, something he’s well capable of doing and has been showing signs of lately.
