Cold-weather Super Bowl in 2014 raising lots of questions

With the NFL having officially awarded the 2014 Super Bowl to New York/New Jersey, lots of questions are being asked. Given the NFL’s previous reluctance to allow their showpiece game to take place in northern cities without domed stadiums, why was an exception made in this case? Will this allow the new stadium’s owners to ratchet up the price for the venue’s naming rights, and if so, will they be able to find a buyer without Nazi ties?
