Despite continued scepticism from industry insiders Racing For Change are stepping up their efforts to make horseracing more appealing to outsiders. Their latest brainwave is the introduction of a new customer charter that will encourage racecourse bookmakers to adhere to standard each-way betting terms. Those bookies that agree to offer each-way terms no worse than those published by the Tattersalls Committee will be given gold flag status – a sign that will reassure punters they aren’t being ripped off.
