While Atlantic City officials may be trying to push the meme that their future’s so bright, they gotta wear shades, the numbers in the casinos’ quarterly tax filings paint a far less sunny picture. Half the casinos are looking for new owners, three are facing imminent closure and many are habitually recording losses in the double-digit millions.
