The Sky is Falling, Skybook Customers being Stiffed!

Gaming industry, Skybook Customers being StiffedOnline sports betting forum Bettorsworld.com is reporting that Skybook is currently slow paying their clients and advising their readers to request a withdrawal from the Costa Rica based sportsbook.

“A payout request was made from Skybook on September 15th, 2009. To their credit, they were able to make partial payment over the course of 2 1/2 months. However, have been unable to make a final $4500 payment.”

Another tell tale sign that the former industry leader is struggling financially is that other online sportsbooks have discontinued doing book to book transfers with Skybook.

“We won’t do business with them any longer,” stated a very respected bookmaker I spoke with today that wished to remain anonymous. “I doubt they will make it through the Super Bowl at this point.”

The slow paying stiff sportsbook also owns/operates the sports betting forum TheRx.com. Bettorsworld.com was one of the first sports betting forums online and has been monitoring sportsbook payouts for over 15 years. Sportsbook Review has also reported payout complaints over the last year however still has Skybook rated a “B-“ at the time of this post.
