Mohawk Olympic Gold medallist, Order of Canada appointee, and online gaming veteran, Alwyn Morris, has stepped down as a gaming operator in order to advise and help those seeking to cut it in the new dawn of regulated gaming in the US. With the US slowly opening up to online gaming and European companies seeking mutually beneficial deals in America, Alwyn explains his rational and his unique insight as an First Nations/Mohawk member:
“I have always strived to be an advocate of the rights and traditions, not just of the Mohawks, but of the indigenous population as whole and having had firsthand experience of online gaming I hope to be able to continue to be useful to both regulators and operators alike. Though in its infancy as a regulated market it is, of course, already very competitive from both an operator and software provider point of view. In any new market it’s important to have the benefit of both past successes and, indeed, failures.”
With this in mind MorrisMohawk is now operating as a ‘best-of-breed’ B2B provider particularly concentrating on the interests of North America’s Indigenous Population.
