Tiger Woods returns to golf again

Tiger WoodsAs a fan of the game of golf, there’s no way you can dispute that a healthy and competitive Tiger Woods is the best thing for the game.
As a gaming industry professional, it wasn’t too long ago that Tiger Woods betting offerings were highly popular as Woods was continuously the favourite to win every major he was entered to play in.

But things changed, and over the course of the past few years Tiger Woods has faded to the background. Scandal, poor play and injuries forced Woods to the sidelines, but now he’s back, again.

Tiger Woods began yet another comeback after a two-month layoff with today’s first round of the Frys.com Open, at CordeValle Golf Club in the hills south of San Jose.

The Frys.com Open will be his first competition with his new caddie Joe LaCava and at this point, all Woods supporters can hope for is a decent showing that says the golfer once regarded as the greatest of all time, is regaining his championship form.

Woods missed the cut at the PGA Championship and didn’t qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs. The layoff allowed Woods much needed time to fine tune his game and get his swagger back.

“I’ve done all that legwork, and now it’s time to play. And that’s where I needed to get to, which I hadn’t been able to because I wasn’t healthy enough to get there. And that part was frustrating, because I know what I can do in the game, and I just needed the time to practice.” – National Post

Having had time to work out some kinks, Woods says he’s ready. While it’s been engaging to watch relatively unknown golfers win majors, the game of golf needs their perennial champion back.
