ARJEL approves SNAI and Itechsoft Game

snaiLast year, Italian sports betting operator SNAI made it clear that they had every intention to file an application for approval with ARJEL to enter the French gaming market, but only when the work environment was more conducive to new entrants such as SNAI.

The liberalisation of the French gaming market continues as ARJEL continues to hand out licenses to operators.

In the latest issuance, the French regulator ARJEL has now granted a five-year online sports betting licence to the subsidiary of Italian sports betting operator SNAI, SNAI France SAS for the domain snaipari.fr. The approval comes with the condition that the company provide certification of regulatory and legal obligations from an independent body within one year of approval.

ARJEL was in giving mood as the French regulating body also approved Itechsoft Game SAS, a subsidiary of UK-based interactive TV gaming company Netplay TV, to offer a range of online sports betting in the French market. The company has been authorised to operate from the netbet.fr and netbetsport.fr domains and will be powered by Playtech software.
