Bolton Wanderers Home Shirt188BET has become the latest company to sign up with Income Access to provide an improved service for affiliates. From this point forward, 188BET’s affiliates will benefit from commissions of 25-40% in revenue share. That’s slightly lower than the 45% offered by rival bookmaker 12Bet.com who also signed up with Income Access.

Des de Silva, Head of UK Acquisitions, at 188BET, commented, “From a software perspective, Income Access was our immediate choice because of their leading position in the iGaming industry, their speedy integration process and their reputation with affiliates.

“They also have a proven track record when it comes to affiliate management, and we are hoping to leverage their relationships within the industry to expand our presence within the UK sports betting market.”

188BET loves a good sponsorship opportunity and as such has partnerships in place with a number of Premier League clubs. This includes having their name emblazoned across the front of the Bolton Wanderers jersey. It’s another place where 12Bet.com beat their asses after stealing in to become sponsor of Wigan Athletic. The guys at 188BET probably aren’t that worried though. Bolton finished way above Wigan and in the numerically named betting firm market, they’re a full 176 digits ahead.

Saying that, both firms may be looking over their shoulders for the long arm of the UK Gambling Commission as new UK regulations come in. Not having a rigid strategy in place going forwards could hurt both firms and they’re already trailing behind Bodog in this respect. Without a UK license it might be that they both say goodbye to their respective shirt sponsorship deals.

They will just get a UK license.  But this is just more evidence of what I have been saying all along…the big players in the world are all going to be coming out of Asia…in this article you named three major players who are coming out of Asia and into Europe.  The other thing they all have in common….all private.
