Casino customers staying longer but spending less

NoVacancyVisitors are spending more time in casinos, but dropping less coin during their stays. Individual Harrah’s casino properties had already revealed this trend, but it seems the phenomenon is endemic in Atlantic City. According to the Gaming Industry Observer newsletter, net revenue per visitor has fallen for the third consecutive year, while the percentage of guests who stay the night is at a record high.
