AG says German betting rules incompatible with EU

NeinThe European Court of Justice’s advocate-general Yves Bot has issued a sharp “Nein!” in response to German attempts to maintain a sports betting monopoly in Rhineland-North Westphalia. Unfortunately, the AG’s opinion isn’t binding, and the ultimate ECJ decision is still to be issued. Read more.
