Albeit at a slower phase, the Philippine Offshore Gambling Operators (POGOs) are still forecasted to grow in 2020 and will continue to drive office space demand in the Makati business district. In an interview with Business World, Monique Cornelio-Pronove, CEO of Pronove Tai International Property Consultants, highlighted that despite temporary restrictions on new licenses in PH, "the main factor of POGOs growth in the office market will always be grounded in the ‘office supply’. POGOs’ continuing growth has also been a huge topic within the government and the Philippine Senate Committee on Labor, Employment, and Human Resources Development has noted that investigating all of the issues surrounding POGOs will be one of their top priorities in 2020.
