The Story
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has released its decisions which showed gaming licenses committing several violations of the state’s gaming laws. One of the major decisions released by the DGE was the imposition of a $100k penalty against Scientific Games’ SG Digital for “deploying three games that were not the versions tested and approved” by the regulator. William Hill’s New Jersey-facing online sports betting operations also received a $7k slap from the DGE for taking action on 16 self-excluded bettors. Other entities that were punished by the DGE include iGaming Cloud, Pokerstars, and two Caesars Entertainment casinos.
