The Story
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas casino filed a civil suit against San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane to seek repayment of $500k in gambling markers it issued to the NHL player in April. Kane reportedly received eight markers worth between $20k and $100k when his team was about to play against Golden Knights last April 15. Aside from the principal amount, the casino also demands around $15k in interest, legal fees and other costs.
