After suffering a setback in March, Italy’s sports betting market registered growth in its revenue for April. The Agenzia della Dogane e dei Monopoli reported that sports betting operators generated revenue of €173.6m in April, up 18.5% from the same month last year. Both land-based and online wagering posted improvements: land-based wagering got an 11.6% increase to €98.1m while online betting revenue surged 28.8% to €75.5m. Goldbet got the biggest share of the betting revenue, followed by Snaitech, and GVC Holdings’ Eurobet brand.
