A U.S. DOJ spokesperson confirmed to GamblingCompliance that it will extend its April 15 deadline for enforcing the new Wire Act opinion to the middle of June, citing the need to give operators more time to comply. Several states have already expressed their intention to challenge the opinion before the U.S. Supreme Court.
